Life-teen update (01-21-2007)

Greetings and salutations Life-Teeners. I apologize for my long absence from Wenatchee, but needless to say I have now returned and am ready to face the challenges that 2007 might bring my way. To help me face these potentially hazardous and life threatening challenges I decided that I needed a stalwart companion (spiritually stalwart, not physically) to help and guide me. Thus I embarked on an intrepid journey to the nether reaches of North West Washington and have returned with a wife. For those of you who have not yet had the opportunity to meet her, her name is Katie and I am hoping to drag her along to Life-teen occasionally. All this being said I hope that you all had an enjoyable Christmas break and a smooth start to winter term. I was not able to make it up to the high school this past week because I have been trying to catch up on some things from before Christmas break. I will, however, be making my usual rounds this coming Wednesday. Whether or not I will be traveling in the company of either Juan or a greasy mass of pizza has yet to be determined, but I am hoping to have both with me when I arrive. For some reason more people seem willing to come and talk to me when I have one, or both of these companions with me. For those of you who have been crying yourselves to sleep at night as a result of Life-teen withdrawals, your night has come, and that night is tonight. That’s right, Life-teen resumes tonight, January 21, 2007. My original thought for a Welcome to 2007 Life-night involved a troupe highly trained acrobatic squirrels doing back flips through flaming rings doom, all the while juggling acorns and whistling Dixi. However, budget constraints being what they are and the squirrels insisting on hibernating during January, the core team and I have come up with something else instead. While not quite as death defying as the back-flipping squirrels I still think you will enjoy it. So come one, come all and discover what is in store at this weeks Life-teen.
