Life-teen update (05-19-2007)

Hello once again to all who actually read this small section of a rather massive bulletin. As most of you are aware as the school year gradually winds down, so does our Life-teen program. For those of you who are going to go home and cry because there will be no youth group to hold you through the summer, fear not. We will have various activities such as barbeques, picnics, movie nights, day trips, etc. to help you keep your social life here at the church going full steam ahead all summer long. I am also thinking of starting a summer bible study or something along those lines. You will just have to wait and see. One thing I know that you are all happy about is the return of pizza on Wednesday afternoons during lunch time. To tell you the truth I have missed it myself, but ye ol budget has been a bit tight and I haven’t been able to afford it. Luckily my tax refund arrived in the mail and has provided some new found funding for our pizza loving habits, so rejoice and be glad. Another thing you may all rejoice and be glad is the addition of a new member of my family. Many of you have heard the rumors and I simply wish to confirm the fact that yes, Katie and I are expecting a little Chase to join us in January and end our ability to have a decent nights sleep. Other than that not much is going on in the world of Life-teen. This week will be our last regularly scheduled Life-night. I have something special planned, so don’t forget to come over after Mass. Next week I will be able to give everyone an update on the REACH Gonzaga retreat and how it went for all those who chose to attend. I know it is going to be a blast and I am quite excited to be able to go. If you are coming on the mission trip don’t forget to show up for all of our meetings. They will be published here in the bulletin.
